About Dahlem Agro

An agricultural development consultancy rooted in Kenya and committed to transforming rural livelihoods through sustainable agriculture, innovation, and community empowerment.

OUR STORY

Founded in Kisumu.
Built for Kenya.

Dahlem Agro Development Initiatives Limited was incorporated in Kenya on 19 May 2020 under the Companies Act, 2015 (Registration: PVT-27U3A6D). We are headquartered in Kisumu, Western Kenya, and operate across Kisumu, Homabay, Siaya, Kakamega, and Vihiga Counties.

Our work is grounded in over 40 years of combined field experience. From soil fertility research in Siaya to GIS-based farm mapping in Kakamega, our team has worked across Kenya and internationally with partners including GIZ, Welthungerhilfe, KALRO, Africa Rice, JKUAT, Self Help Africa, UNICEF, ICRC, and the World Bank.

We were formed to bridge the gap between agricultural research and practical delivery β€” bringing PhD-level expertise, technical tools, and community engagement directly to smallholder farmers and rural communities who need it most.
